Regional Proposals and Requests

This category is where anyone may post REGIONAL-SCALE proposals or requests for the rest of the community to consider. It is a placeholder for the 'living' body of requests and intentions that folks in the community hold for each other --- The proposals help us self-organize (1) to harness or direct region-wide attention and action and (2) shape the culture and discourse of our community. --- All proposals should clearly indicate 1. who are the intended participants; 2. clear next steps about how to participate/support a proposal; 3. any time limits to participation, 4. contact person, if necessary. --- Processes: One proposal per Discussion thread. Proposals/Requests can be posted at any time. A bulletin will be sent to NEPC list serve monthly, listing new proposals.

We live in dangerous times, when economic collapse, climate chaos, and peak oilpeak water threaten the foundations of society, abundance, and all we hold dear. “Business as usual” will no longer suffice, because that way leads to certain pain, peril and impoverishment.  …

Hi NE Permaculture people

After many years of hovering around the edge of permaculture circles in Australia and the United States we’ve noticed how fragmented the permaculture community is.

So we’ve decided that it’s time something was done about that. We’d like to introduce you to our new…
